Lisa counsels JonesSpross clients on a broad range of complex legal, business, and strategic issues. She brings with her more than two decades of global legal experience, both as an in-house and external legal advisor in Intellectual Property, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial, Transactional, and Real Estate law, as well as serving on corporate Boards of Directors. Lisa’s career began as a Patent and Trademark attorney before she moved to an in-house position as the Intellectual Property Counsel and Interim General Counsel for VideoJet. She then led companies as General Counsel, including a Division of Logitech (LifeSize) and Optiva, and as IP, Licensing and Commercial Counsel at various companies such as Meta, SolarWinds and Borland Software.

Lisa obtained her B.S. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and her J.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was awarded the first ever Certificate for Outstanding Academic Excellence in Intellectual Property Law.
