Kathleen Paisley has spent more than three decades providing legal and business solutions to US, European and Asian technology and life sciences companies. She is triple qualified in law (JD Yale), finance (MBA Finance) and accounting (CPA exam), and has practiced in Europe (Brussels, London, and the Hague), and the United States (New York, Miami, and most recently, Austin).
Her wide-ranging experience includes acting as a partner at White & Case in London/New York and Morrison & Foerster in Brussels/San Francisco; as General Counsel/Commercial Director at a privately held technology and digital services company in London and as Chief Legal/Compliance Officer at a publicly traded life sciences company in Brussels/Boston; and as an independent arbitrator, mediator and expert across the globe.
Kathleen is a member of the New York and DC bars (with the Belgian and English bars in progress) and has extensive experience under both the common and civil laws, as well as EU and international law. Her practice focuses on:
After graduating from Yale Law School, Kathleen started her practice as a Judicial Law Clerk to The Honorable Gilbert S. Merritt, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Nashville Tennessee, and served as a Legal Advisor to U.S. Arbitrators Charles Brower, Richard Allison, and Howard Holtzmann at the Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal in the Hague.
