Karen Bernstein brings over two decades of experience providing legal counsel to technology companies worldwide. For the past fourteen years, she has served as outside general counsel in private practice, advising public and private companies on a wide range of commercial and strategic matters.

Karen specializes in technology licensing and building scalable legal infrastructure to support growth. She has deep expertise in structuring and negotiating complex transactions that generate revenue while effectively managing legal risk. She works closely with finance, sales, and executive teams to align legal solutions with business objectives.

Her practice includes software licensing, AI and SaaS agreements, licensing model development, legal and business playbooks, employment and compensation matters, and strategic partnerships.

Karen holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and both a J.D. and M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
